National Military Appreciation Month 2017
This is an annual celebration that takes place in May. Various activities and events are held throughout the month, including the honoring of former and current US Armed Forces members. Around six activities take place during the month-long celebration.
Armed Forces Day

This is one of the events during the month-long National Military Appreciation Month celebration. The event was established with the help of President Harry S. Truman, who declared that the military heroes of the United States should be honored for their patriotic service to the country.
AFCEA Defensive Cyber Operations Symposium 2017

This symposium is focused on security improvement and the formulation of a strategy that allows organizations participating in the event to use not only enterprise management but also technical solutions in initiating improvements in security, reliability, and efficiency. To be highlighted during the symposium is the importance of teamwork, especially in the wake of the US Defense Information Systems Agency’s new cyber domain role as network defender.
